The Potter Companies, BCDC Start Tractor Supply Company in South Carolina

The Potter Companies and Batson-Cook Development Company (BCDC) have closed on a 4.6-acre property on Charlotte Drive and broken ground on a new Tractor Supply Company in the Charlotte suburb city of Clover, S.C. 

The project will include a 23,000 square foot build-to-suit building and 20,000 square feet of outdoor display area, sidewalk display area and trailer and equipment display area. Tractor Supply Company (NASDAQ: TSCO) is the largest rural lifestyle retailer in the United States. It targets the needs of recreational farmers, ranchers and individuals living rural lifestyles.

Pinnacle Bank is the senior lender. Nashville-based W.R. Newman & Associates, Inc. is the general contractor. W.R. Newman has built more than 580 Tractor Supply stores. Oxford Architecture is the architect. Completion is targeted for the third quarter.
