Retail and Mixed Use
Fuqua Development
Based in Atlanta, Georgia, Fuqua Development specializes in a growing portfolio of urban retail mixed-use supercenters in nearly 20 locations throughout Atlanta and the Southeast. The “live, work, play” characteristic of their projects include retail, restaurant, and residential spaces that seek to improve the quality of life and enhance the neighborhood feeling of each community in which they build.
As of 2023, BCDC and Fuqua Development have partnered on fifteen (15) retail focused developments in the Atlanta metro area, and the team continues to pursue a backlog of projects.
Multifamily
Novare Group
Novare Group is a leading developer of innovative mixed-use communities in the Sunbelt region. The company has overseen over $3.5 billion of real estate development and investment since its founding by Jim Borders in 1992. Since 2009, Novare Group, in partnership with BCDC, has developed eighteen SkyHouse® branded communities, a rapid build efficient high-rise concept that was a result of prior experience and observations in development and construction. In 2017, Novare Group and BCDC began executing on suburban garden style and town center developments. Altogether, Novare Group has developed over 18,000 multi-family units in over 50 projects in Alexandria, VA; Athens, GA; Atlanta, GA; Augusta, GA; Austin, TX; Birmingham, AL; Charlotte, NC; Chattanooga, TN; Dallas, TX; Denver, CO; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; Lawrenceville, GA; Nashville, TN; Newnan, GA; Orlando, FL; Raleigh, NC; Tallahassee, TL; and Tampa, FL.
As of 2023, Novare Group and BCDC have partnered on over thirty-seven (37) multifamily developments in the Southeast, Texas and Colorado and the team continues to pursue a backlog of projects together.

Assisted Living Facilities
Principal Senior Living Group
Based in Alpharetta, Georgia, Principal Senior Living Group is a superior Developer, Owner, and Operator of assisted living and memory care communities. With over fifty years of combined experience serving seniors, partners Kyle Diekmann and David Winters formed Principal Senior Living Group in 1997 and have developed over thirty projects serving locations in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Kansas and Missouri, under the ‘Benton House’ brand.
BCDC and Principal Senior Living Group first partnered on an assisted living development in 2010 and have since completed over seventeen projects together.
