Michelle Medearis is the Chief Accounting Officer at BCDC and has been with the company since 2012.
She is currently responsible for recruiting, managing and overseeing all accounting functions, analyzing financial statements and maintaining the accounting system. Michelle is accountable for ensuring all financial statements adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), monitoring and implementing internal controls, and liaising with external auditors and tax preparers.
A Certified Public Accountant, Michelle earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from East Tennessee State University and a Master of Accounting and Financial Management from the Keller Graduate School of Management.
