Hinton joined BCDC in 2026 and oversees accounting and financial reporting for the company’s real estate development activity.
Prior to joining BCDC, Hinton served as Corporate Controller at Birdsey Group, where he led the accounting function. He began his career in audit at Grant Thornton and later joined the Joint Venture Accounting team at Wood Partners.
A certified public accountant, Hinton earned a Master of Accountancy from the University of Georgia.
Hinton enjoys woodworking and building furniture in his home workshop. He also stays involved with UGA as Facilities Advisor on the Delta Sigma Phi Alumni Corporation Board.
