14 Sep The Exchange at Gwinnett – Phase II
BCDC and Fuqua Development have joined in a JV to the second phase of the Exchange at Gwinnett at the intersection of GA Hwy 20 and Interstate 85. The second phase of the project brings additional retail and a 23,000 SF Sprouts Farmers Market to this vibrant mixed-use development. In addition to the additional retail components, the second phase will see the development of up to 340 market rate multi-family units as well as 180 age restricted multi-family units. Difficult site conditions warranted the creation of a Tax Allocation District to assist the JV with the cost of the infrastructure development. Nothing like The Exchange at Gwinnett exists in Gwinnett County and this project will serve as an entertainment, dwelling and employment hub. Poised to become Gwinnett’s landmark district for live, work and play, Exchange @ Gwinnett combines shopping, food and entertainment with residential flats to create a dynamic destination at the crossroads of I-85 and GA Highway 20.
