Ruben Torres Storage

Bakke Development, in partnership with BCDC, have formed their 2nd joint venture to develop Ruben Torres Storage, a 781-unit, three-story, climate-controlled self-storage product.

Located on Ruben Torres Boulevard, the Brownsville facility is on 2.3 Acres and will have 781 units spread over more than 87,250 square feet. A major east/west thoroughfare through north-central Brownsville allows access to the site. It is located just west of an HEB Plus!, one of the top HEB Grocery stores in the state by the total number of visits.

The Venture closed on the financing and land in April 2022, with construction commencing in May 2022, allowing the project to achieve final C/O in April 2023.
