Novare Group and BCDC, in a joint venture with ELV Associates, have broken ground on Populus Westside, a 286-unit multifamily community which will be located on the Upper Westside of Atlanta.
Situated on more than 25 acres, Populus will have eight (8) residential buildings, a clubhouse, and fitness center, and a pool around an open green space with outdoor grills and a pet park. The Project’s eight (8) residential buildings are a mix of two-story, three-story and 3/4 split. There will be two (2) two-story direct entry buildings with 40 total units, one (1) three-story open breezeway building with 36 total units, and five (5) 3/4 split open breezeway buildings with 210 total units. The unit sizes range from 548 SF – 1,269 SF and average a total of 937 SF. Positioned inside of the I-285 perimeter, the Project’s ideal location and proximity to an I-285 on ramp and off ramp provides convenient access to all of Atlanta’s rapidly expanding job hubs including West Midtown, Midtown, Cumberland and Downtown. Significant investment has poured into the Westside including Westside Reservoir Park, Proctor Creek Greenway (which will be adjacent to the Project once complete), the Westside Beltline trail, the recently announced Microsoft campus and the explosive growth of nearby West Midtown.
