BCDC and Novare are underway on Powder Springs Town Center, a 226-unit, surface-parked, multifamily product. The Project is located 20 miles northwest of Downtown Atlanta.
Powder Springs Town Center will feature 226 rental units in eight (8) buildings that are a mix of two-story carriage houses and three-story, 3/4 split and four-story apartments. Each building will have conditioned corridors with flat roofs, and the carriage house units will have pitched roofs. The Project will include 271 surface parking spaces and six (6), two-car garages under the carriage house units.Powder Springs Town Center will include 16 studio units (7.1%), 119 one-bedroom units (52.7%), 6 one-bedroom carriage houses (2.7%), and 85 two-bedroom units (37.6%). The unit sizes range from 438 SF – 1,269 SF and average a total of 958 SF.
The Project is situated in the heart of Powder Springs’ historic downtown with optimal walkability to the new Thurman Springs Park, restaurants and shops along Marietta Street, and area amenities such as the Silver Comet Trail. The Project will transform the site from its current condition into a mixed-use development that includes Class-A apartments with state-of-the-art amenities, a retail development pad, which will be owned and eventually developed by the City of Powder Springs, and outdoor greenspace, all of which will activate and densify the downtown area.
