The Berry Company, in partnership with BCDC and The Carlyle Group have broken ground on a class A, build-for-rent townhome community in Charleston, South Carolina. The Project will include 192 three-bedroom, and three-and-a-half-bathroom townhome units with every unit containing a one car attached garage on the ground floor of the three-story units with dedicated driveways for surface parking.

The Project will feature an amenity package including a community playground, swimming pool, pool cabana, hammock stations, pavilion with grilling stations, bark park, private fenced puppy yards (on select units) and bike and walking trails throughout the Site. Of the 46.7-acre Site, the Sponsor is only disturbing approximately 15.5 acres, allowing for a low-density project with a true neighborhood residential feel.
