My Place – Augusta

Rimrock Companies, in partnership with BCDC, have broken ground in Augusta, Georgia to develop a My Place extended stay hotel. The subject hotel will consist of one, four-story, 30,000 square foot building on 3.69 acres of land. There will be 64 rooms total with unique features like refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves in each room, indicative of extended-stay hotels.

The site is conveniently located off I-20. Guests can quickly visit the grocery store or many of the restaurants located in the immediate area surrounding the site. Augusta is most known for hosting the world-famous Master’s golf tournament annually, but the Augusta MSA is gaining attention for its temperate climate, favorable taxes, skilled workforce, medical industry, and diversified employer base. The subject site provides convenient access to shopping, restaurants, hospitals and healthcare institutions, and is only 10 minutes from Augusta National Golf Club. The location is central to major manufacturing plants in the area and only 10 minutes from Fort Eisenhower, which has a total base population of over 100,000. The combination of strong tourism and transient travel coupled with a dynamic and growing local economy make Augusta an ideal market for the extended stay offering of My Place Hotels. The My Place should be well received and optimistically command high average daily rates.
