Centro Montford represents the first joint venture between BCDC and Ascent Real Estate Capital (“Sponsor”). The project will include 240 apartment units which will be comprised of studio, one- and two-bedroom units. Centro Montford’s site is centrally located in the Montford neighborhood in Charlotte, has access to retail, and the Little Sugar Creek Greenway.

The Project will appeal to professionals of various ages, particularly young professionals who make up over 50% of the income qualified pool in the PMA (Primary Market Area). Intended higher-quality finishes will set the subject site apart in Montford, and the extensive amenity package will make it attractive over other micro-unit buildings. Charlotte-based Edifice Construction is the general contractor.
