Novare Group, in a partnership with BCDC and Preferred Apartment Communities, has broken ground on a 316-unit garden-style, Class A multifamily community in Pooler, GA.

The Property is located in South Pooler along Memorial Boulevard near the I-16 and Pooler Parkway interchange. This convenient location will provide residents easy access to all of the area’s major employment centers including Gulfstream, Port of Savannah, Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport and downtown Savannah all within 15 minutes. South Pooler has experienced significant economic development over recent years, such as the 2.4 million SF Savannah Port Logistics Center located just two miles northwest of the Site and the St Joseph’s/Candler Pooler campus (Healthcare) adjacent to the Site. The immediate area has seen an influx of quality retailers including Publix, Orangetheory, Costco, Chick-fil-A and Starbucks to the Savannah Quarters and Mosaic Town Center mixed-use developments, which are less than a mile from the Site. The Project is one of the last multi-family development sites in Pooler as the city has effectively shut off entitlements for new multi-family projects. The combination of the City of Pooler’s strong opposition to future apartment development and a scarcity of zoned, developable land creates attractive barriers for new apartment development that will limit future supply in the area.

The nearly 30 acres site will include 316 units (301,737 NRSF), surface parking (461 spaces) and 30 detached garages. Amenities will include a clubhouse and lounge, fitness and yoga center, pool, open space and nature trails.
