Our second JV with The Spectrum Companies, the project includes the development of a mid-rise, class A multifamily community in Charlotte, NC. 325 units (301,850 NRSF) and surface (473 spaces) parking.

Proximate to the Lynx Blue Line (light rail line), Wellen is a transit-oriented multifamily development in the University submarket of Charlotte, NC. The Project is a 10-minute walk (0.5 miles) from the University City Blvd. light rail station, providing connectivity to the Charlotte CBD. University City is home to University Research Park [URP], which has grown into one of the largest university research parks in the entire nation and features 30,000 employees and 10 million SF of office. URP benefits from superior utility and fiber infrastructure which is a draw for data and research-intensive business. In all of University City there are over 73,000 employees, making it Charlotte’s second biggest employment center.

The Project will rise across four, elevator-serviced, 4 to 5-story buildings complete with interior corridors. The Project’s units will be complete with premium high-end touches and top amenities, emphasizing refined unit finishes accentuated by abundant natural light.
